Hotel was very nice. Staff very friendly and helpful. Transportation provided by Pleasant Holidays was very informative, friendly and always on time. Loved the outside seating at the restaurants. Restaurants were first come first served. Not much of a problem getting seated. Good variety of foods. Poolside was wonderful and weather was fantastic.
A group of 6 went on a sunset catamaran cruise. The crew were very nice and friendly, but the whole experience seemed very unsafe. We left beach in a dingy (overloaded with too many passengers) to board the catamaran. The winds were very high and there were huge white caps on the ocean. We had to leave our shoes in box in dingy. The winds and white caps made it very difficult to step from the dingy into the catamaran, especially for us with artificial hips and knees. Upon returning to beach after sunset, it was pitch dark with only one flashlight with the crew. Again, we had to step off catamaran into dingy with the winds and white caps rocking the boats. Several people fell off dingy trying to unload at beach, especially with no light. The crew dumped our shoes on the beach and they left. We were left to find our shoes and make our way up beach to resort with the help of a few using their flashlights on their cell phones. I don’t feel many safety codes were utilized especially with the winding conditions and the overloading of dingy. The name of the catamaran was the Hibiscus.

Great service and facilities. The beach is just ok... sand was a bit coarse and not fine like other nice beaches. Food was excellent but access to ala cart restaurants was limited. If you were not waiting in line promptly at 1815 then you stood a good chance of not getting in. Bartenders at the pool par were amazing. We took a walk down to the monkey bar and enjoyed a few cold beers . Room was very nice and maid service was prompt and efficient.
pool area and pool bar breakfast buffet was great entertainment was good...but too much lip syncing at the main shows bands that performed after the production shows were good steakhouse was great
need to expand the ala cart restaurant hours.

I had an amazing vacation! The service was great! Our bartender and wait staff where friendly and courteous which was appreciated! The front desk staff was knowledgeable when asked about activities away from the resort. I would highly recommend traveling to this resort, Costa Rica was AMAZING!
Friendly and courteous staff. Food was good, 4 out of 5 rating, drinks were amazing!
For the restaurants, you could not make reservations, first come first serve basis.
